Flower Bowers

More swishy swathes now grace the gardens. There are now garlands of flowers and leaves in the shelter shed in the Fragrant Garden and also in the bus stop.

Thanks to my wonderful friends and relations who contributed some of the flowers and leaves - my cousin Gay McEwan, and my friends Joanne Jayne, Tess Murray and Felicity Clarke.

These colourful garlands have been created to display some of the many different techniques that I will be incorporating in my work during the year.
I hope you get a chance to see them next time you visit ... maybe when you come to the Gardens this Sunday (what a lovely way to spend Mothers' Day) ... or you can check them out when you come to my exhibition in June! (see more details at the end of this post).

BUS SHELTER

Hopefully this will brighten the day for people arriving at the gardens by bus.

I hope you think this is an improvement on how it looked before!
